I remember Clint in one of his talks mentioned that the idea that Man was created in God's image is erroneous, but I never heard an explanation of that. Can Clint or anyone else tell me where that discussion if any can be found? Is it in the Strawman book?
Thanks!

Greetings Ilene... This is a hard one, and it took me quite a while to be able to write it out susinctly in my book. If you start on about page 359, the explanation and sources go on for about 20 or 25 pages. In a nutshell, remember that there are at least two sepertate "creation" mythos being told here, one being that of the false gods or Babylonian Eleni Enish, and one being that of JYVH. Some scholars argue that there are three seperate stories being mixed together. The term "in the image" refers to vanity, anything that is a shaddow or vain, an idol. So it is by no measure of goodness that man is created by the gods in one story as an idol of those gods. In the YHVH or True Creation, man is specifically said to be "formed from the dust of the Earth" etc., which is a completely different conception. There's a lot to it. Hope that helps... The book and ongoing voiceover is downloadable in the private area for members. -Clint
