Speaking in tongues.

The only thing that is self-evident (not manmade) is that there is no language in Nature. English or "tongues" or Hebrew is not a Creation of YHVH, not part of the Law of Nature, nor how actual praying should be experienced. Thus, by default, speaking in any language, including tongues or gibberish is foolishness in the proverbial eyes of God. One starts to figure this out about most of what is manmade, from the alphabet to numbers and any other symbols and to what seem like deep concepts, such as "time," though it is self-evident that only right now exists, or is actual existence. History is obviosuly never a Truth, for all history is manmade, not to be found in Nature. The tracking of "time" is necesary for the fiction, the legal contract specifically, for there is no contract or due date without artificial (calendric) time. Even the legal term "life" is defined as the term of a contract, that is, the "life" of a contract is the time it is active or remaining unexecuted. We die, thus a death (exectution of cotract) certificate is needed. A simple bit of sane and self-evident reasoning tells us that once we were to travel far enough away from the earth, all of the predictable time-telling elements like sunrises and sunsets would no longer be an observable phenominon. There would be no up or down, left or right, begining or end, for there would be no object to assign those concepts toward, nothing we are bound to the rules and geography of. There would be no seasons, no days or nights, just what is YHVH (self-Existence). Thus, it is said that YHVH is Timeless as is Christ, the Logos or Law of YHVH. Essentially, everything we participate in is fiction, a lie, some legal artifice, or a simulation/hypocracy against Truth (the self-Existence of YHVH). And this is why so many cultures have different timelines, ours being the Roman Jesus timeline, whereas the Judism calender starts from the false notion of the beginning of the world. The current Hebrew year is AM 5783, which began at sunset on 25 September 2022 and will end at sunset on 15 September 2023. It is "Friday" night as I write this, though I have to agree or believe that the Roman calender is True or at least useful for that to have any relevence to anything, and it has nothing relevent to do with Nature Itself, for Nature is the Source of the Day and Night, not man's names for it.

These are the Truths of the Universe, which we are suposed to ignore, so that we can be made to remain on the Monopoly Board. Praying or speaking in the language of tongues is no more effective than praying for money, for the source of both is man, not God.
